Campaign X-Ray allows you to see all of your email reporting data across all historical and ongoing campaigns (both AutoPilot and scheduled). It also includes breakdowns and summarizations of everything that happens within a campaign as a whole, all the way down to individual drops.

In addition, it offers summaries by campaign, creative, segment, and holdouts.

  1. Campaign Overview

This section gives you an overarching view of each of your campaigns. Each of the drops in a campaign are summarized so that you can gauge the overall efficacy of each campaign as a whole.

The Campaign Overview functions as a quick way to view how all of your campaigns have performed over time.

  1. Campaign Details

This section breaks down campaigns by their individual parts. It gives you a separate line for each creative by the segment it was sent to, so that you can see how the different groups in your campaign performed.

This offers an easy way to view response rates by different groups.

  1. Drops

The Drops report is similar to the campaign details report, but also breaking down campaigns by individual drop times.

It also displays separate drop times for when you send a creative multiple times to a single segment.

  1. Segments

Rather than splitting emails by campaign, this section splits data up into groupings of emails sent to each segment.

In turn, you are able to see which types of creatives performed the best for each particular segment. For example, you can determine which emails your MVBs responded to the best.

  1. Creatives

This section separates each campaign by its creative content, allowing you to see how different segments responded to each particular creative.

If you plan on reusing a particular creative, you can use this data to inform which segment will respond the best, and therefore, which segment should receive the creative.

  1. Control Cell Comparison

This section displays the results of any campaigns in which you used control cells, letting you know how your campaign target performed statistically against the control.

Options

Each campaign report has multiple different options you can apply.

Campaign Start Date vs Response Date

Clicking Campaign State Date will display all relevant responses for campaigns that started within your selected time frame.

This means that even if a campaign has opens, clicks, or conversions, they will be hidden unless the campaign actually initially started within that time period.

Meanwhile, Response Date displays any kind of responses (opens, clicks, and conversions) that occurred within the selected period - regardless of when the campaign began. This is particularly useful for ongoing AutoPilot campaigns.

Important Note: Because “Response Date” includes campaigns that had any response in your selected time range, it is possible to have zero-value entries for entries like sent or delivered.

E.g., If you sent a campaign yesterday, but are only viewing response data for today, you will have zero sent, but likely will have some opens and clicks for people who saw the email late.

Show Tests

Depending upon whether you click “Yes” or “No” will determine whether or not any campaigns tagged as “test” will be automatically hidden or not.

You can only tag a campaign as test before you deploy it in the campaign builder.

Compact View

By default, BuyerGenomics automatically displays the thumbnails of your creatives. Turning off Compact View will hide thumbnails and less critical information so that you can see more data on your screen at once.

BG Only

This option will only appear if BuyerGenomics detects emails that came from any sources outside of the platform and if you are using the Response Date option (instead of Campaign Start Date).

If you do not want to see any emails external to BG, change BG Only to “Yes.”
